Located near Graford, Texas, the Refuge campground at Lake Godstone is a Group Campground for use by families or camp groups and can fit up to 10 tents/small RV’s. There are two utility stations each with power (20 and 30 amp) and water, a tree house shelter with seating for four and a coffee table, large fire pit, two picnic tables, and a porta-potty. There is an area comfort station with toilets/showers within walking distance. It is located on the east forested meadow above the Crappie Pond and Lake Godstone and is connected to 4 miles of hike and bike trails. Guests have access to our sports field complex with soccer, baseball, sand volleyball, a lit basketball court and observatory with telescope just a short walk away lake, wildlife viewing, and trail systems. Wi-Fi is free. Base rate is for Eight people and cost is $10.00 per person per night for each guest over 8 people. From Graford, Texas go 7 miles north on Highway 4 then west (left) on Halsell Ranch Road, a windy, hilly gravel road for 4 miles to Lake Godstone™ on your right. 

From Jacksboro go west 1-2 miles on hwy 380 to hwy 4 then south 14 miles to Halsell Road then west (right) on a windy, hilly gravel road for 4 miles to Lake Godstone™ on your right. 

You’ll know you are here when you see the 8 foot cedar fence on your right and the overhead power lines. Address is 4636 Halsell Ranch Road, Jacksboro 76458. Call 940-275-0908.
